Course Overview

One year of monthly supervision sessions aimed at all practitioners, regardless of professional background who want professional and clinical supervision. 

Sessions will:
– Focus on vocational rehabilitation/work
– Be lead by experienced VR professionals
• Monthly sessions incorporating:
– Topics for learning and discussion
– Opportunities to share challenges, trends, etc.
– Case discussions

Confidentiality and ground rules to be clearly set at reviewed at each session

Dates:

Every 2nd Monday of the month (these are subject to change and will be rearranged around public holidays)

On the 4th Tuesday of every month a webinar will be held or a podcast uploaded here. All members will receive an email with instructions on how to sign up for each upcoming webinars.

Vocational Rehabilitation and Case Management Course

Course Overview

The course is specifically designed for healthcare professionals, case managers, and vocational rehabilitation practitioners, including: Experienced Vocational Rehabilitation practitioners wanting to expend their skills base and offer additional services. Practitioners who are new to Vocational Rehabilitation.
Topics include (but not limited to):
– Initial assessments and report writing
– Case management
– Return to work planning
– Vocational Redirection and Transferable skills analysis
– Worksite assessments
